Description

DTSTXEB is an evaluation board with a high-density FPGA from Altera, the Stratix FPGA EP1S25F780C7, that a ZSPneo with some additional peripherals can be loaded onto.

The FPGA can be initialized in three ways: with the integrated USB 1.1 JTAG controller, an external JTAG emulator, or from the optional FPGA flash configuration PROM (Altera flash configuration PROM - EPC8).

The board itself has 256Kx16 Fast Asynchronous SRAM (CY7C1041CV33), 512K x 16 Flash ROM (MT28F800B3WG), a 2 line by 16 character LCD display, 13 slide switches for feature configuration, 16 individual LED outputs, 8 momentary-contact push button switches, a 12.288MHz crystal clock oscillator, two 20-pin serial port with standard SPORT pintout, 3 26-pin headers for 21-bit address and 32-bit data access, an integrated USB 1.1 controller with JTAG and 8-bit Host Port Interface (HPI), and headers for external JTAG emulators.

With the purchase of the evaluation board, a universal AC/DC power supply (100-220V, 50-60Hz), application notes, user's guide, a USB cable, the ZSP SDK for Zspneo, and a software utility to reprogram the FPGA image with the integrated USB 1.1 JTAG controller are also included.
