of up to four 10/14-pin JTAG headers or 3 10/14-pin JTAG headers and one 20-pin ARM header. Each connected board's DSP can be controlled synchronously as well as individually for the utmost flexibility in a testing environment.

The 14x10 ribbon cables have a separate, single pin, reset control connector.

Description

The ZSP-QUAD-JTAG adapter is used in conjunction with VeriSilicon's Z ViewIDE and Z Server  Connectivity software for simultaneous control of multiple devices. In the example above, an engineer is debugging multiple target boards that are daisy chained together using the ZSP-QUAD-JTAG adapter.  Either the   ZSP-USB-JTAG or the SB-USB2 emulator can be used  to facilitate debugging. A ZViewIDE debug session is enabled for each daisy chained device.

Remote access to the debug sessions is provided by ZServer Connectivity software. Engineers can run/halt/single step the DSP devices synchronously as well as individually through the ZViewIDE debugger.  Signum System's Chameleon  Debugger for ARM can be used in conjunction with ZServer connectivity software to control and manipulate the ARM target.
